COQUILLE DIARY OCTOBER 2001:
Gail, Rocky, Justin, Jim are coming to visit Coquille. Justin is headed to Korea and Jim is off to Alaska? They brought the cutest puppy, Scooter a miniature Schnauzer. Took Gale for a tour of the hospital, she was impressed with the size of the kitchen. The kitchen is huge. The dining room is tiny in comparison.
HOSPITAL HUMOR: This was a for real ER visit. A young lady came in complaining of vaginal bleeding. Apparently her boy friend had put electrical tape around his penis and she was afraid that he had cut her. Yeah, there was some alcohol involved. I bet that smarts when he peels off the electrical tape.
10-16: I get to sit in on interviews for the candidates for Edna Cotner's job. She wishes to retire. The second and third candidates will come in the new couple of days.
Candidate #3: She came on Monday, my day off and I forgot to work. Everyone seemed to like her.
10-25; The Board met and offered the job to Candidate #1.
Well, that is quite enough for October.

Candidate #1: Very impressive and professional. IF his wife agrees to move to Coquille with their very young family of four children, two newly adopted.
Candidate #2: Good old boy from BSU, worked in Pocatello, Twin Falls and Moses Lake. He seemed tired and needed a nap.
