COQUILLE DIARY JANUARY 2002

COQUILLE DIARY JANUARY 2002:

Okay people, for those of you who still write actual paper checks, sit down and put 2002 on at least the first ten paper checks, just to avoid that beginning of the new year getting the date correct on checks problem.

1-5:  Little accident at work:  Got to work this morning and found a note and some broken electrical components, plugs and wiring.  Huh??  Seems housekeeping came in to buff the floors and the buffer tangled with one of the cords lying near the shelves and ripped it into little bitty pieces.  That particular line was part of the Lanier transcription system so I had to make a service call request so someone might call back Monday and Lord only knows when someone will respond.  I am afraid it will run about 700 bucks to fix.  Erk.

Mom moved into a Senior Center.  Her new apartment is a one bedroom.  The laundry room is down the hall and there are lots of folk for her to boss around as I am sure will happen.

Drug House next door. The land lord finally booted out the kid who was being very busy peddling something.  He rented the house to the kids older brother.  Hope his drug of choice is beer.

1-23: Got taxes done and this year we get a refund. Yay!!!

1-27:  Got big fat snow flakes, it has not melted off AND we have thunder snow.  Thunder in winter different.

I have been feeling restless and have been contacted to fly to Houston for a job interview.  Hmmm more about that next month.
Bye for now,

G'night folks.
