Ooh shiny new gutters

The gutters guys came today to install new gutters front, back and all around the front "porch".  Theoretically this will keep the rain out of the basement unless we have a tsunami, then all bets are off.

Gutters can certainly help prevent water from coming into the house. And from the looks of the gutter in your front porch, I can hazard a guess that it’s pretty sturdy. The contractors really did an amazing job with your gutters!

It's good to have gutters on the porch. It will be less messy during the rainy days because the water won't be splashing around everywhere when it hits the ground.

Your gutters seem almost unnoticeable. At first glance, I thought it was just a part of the porch! It was a good move to install them that way because it will keep your house completely dry when it’s raining. Now, you are all prepared for the rainy season!
