Out of curiosity I Googled whether the NRA had every been sued by a gun violence victim/family? While Google listed several law suits from various organizations and there was an op ed piece from a newspaper advocating that victims sue there does not seem to be much going towards pursuing a lawsuit against the NRS.
Surely there are enough lawyers willing to file suit for loss of life of all the victims. I am fairly sure that if such a precedence were established that the NRA would lose a bunch of money at long last and lose hold of some of the strangle hold on gun laws.
Perhaps there should be a few lawsuits against law givers. Oh yes, let the non Washington lawyers bring suits against Congress. Um unless of course the bastards wrote a low precluding such.
There should not be assault rifles loose in America, I read that there are eleven million assault rifles in the hands of a mixture of citizenry, let the rifles be claimed by eminent domain and put entirely under a private institute. Any other ideas?
Oh yes, tax the living crap out of ammunition Make it so expensive to own or manufacture that many owners will have to refinance their homes to own any. Great idea.
