I have never had THIS dream before.

I woke from a dream where in husband and I were driving from Coquille to Coos Bay. There had been a general announcement at work that there were some Amish people passing through and who wished to talk to people. Sure enough as we drove through town there were two buggies parked off the side of the street. We stopped and got out and started chatting. The people we talked to didn't look like Amish people I have seen pictures of, they were not blond, didn't speak with any kind of accent and the man (who was black incidentally) did not wear one of those flat brimmed Amish hats and did not sport a beard. Anyway we asked about their journey, it had taken them 90 days to come this far and they had driven mostly on power line property in order to avoid the highways. We then sat down to a cup of coffee and watched the passing cars and even jaw a jet fly by very low. The man when speaking even exclaimed, "Christ!" every once in a while. I didn't quite know what to make of that. We then parted our ways and I woke up. I don't think the dream interpretation site can do THIS one.

This was a close as I could get at the dream interpretation site.

Traveling

To dream that you are traveling, represents the path toward your life goals. It also parallels your daily routine and how you are progressing along. Alternatively, it signifies a desire to escape. If your travels come to an end, then it symbolizes successful completion of your goals.

To dream that you are traveling in a car filled with people, signifies that you will make new and fun friends and exciting adventures.

FUN!

I think this dream is about wanting to revisit the past (Amish people dress and act like they are in the past), but realizing that you can never go back to how things were. (The Amish people in your dream aren't anything like the way Amish people are supposed to be.)
