Finally got the taxes done and e-filed. Sets some kind of early filing record for us. Got the 1098 information from the bank and fired the program back up, chucked that in. Panicked briefly when the end results didn't look quite right. I finally went back to the W-2 section and realized there was a whole column of stuff I had failed to enter. That correction made me like Uncle Sam a whole lot better than previously. Got it finalized, printed, and only have to wait a couple days to hear from IRS that filing was accepted and I can put that stuff completely out of my mind for another year.

Lovely couple, I shall call them Glen and Edna Fittz. Live just down the street they are both retired civil engineers.....
Yeah that would be the ideal couple getting the tax program to work etc. It's a whole different universe in my house.
Taxes will be done this weekend....yeah!
