I was googling various places about the globe and found a place that had me momentarily enchanted. Guess the name of this place. Do refrain from using the Flag data base for oh all of 60 seconds. Gimme a wild guess before you go trudging off. Oh yes describe the government.

Nope thanks for playing, although they did have royalty of a sort until a few years ago.
I don't know what it is, but I keep thinking lots of flags would make lovely quilts. Strange. Or throw pillows. Do you think that I may be watching to much HGtv?
Mitch says Sark, and I say Lichenstein. I think both are monarchys of sorts.
Mitch is right, it is Sark a British Crown Dependent island in the English Channel.
I just thought it was a nifty little island, so pretty and fuedal and no Wal(Gack)Mart. I was reading a bit about Sark at the flag site and the island was granted to a pirate by Elizabeth I if he would JUST leave her ships alone? What a deal!
And yes I think a quilt or some wall art made of pretty flags would look FAB!
